How to clear a browser cache and other browsing data: Chrome, Edge, and Firefox

When you visit the EMR site, your browser stores information such as the pages of the EMR you visited. When we update the EMR application, your browser may still show you those old pieces of information it previously stored. You need to clear your browser cache in order to see the updated information from the new update of the EMR application.


To clear your cache on your browser, follow these steps.


Chrome

1.) Launch your Chrome browser.

2.) Press "Ctrl+Shift+Del" on your keyboard.

3.) At the top of the "Clear browsing data" window, click on "Advanced".

4.) Select "All-time" as the time range.

5.) Select the following: "Browsing history", "Download history", "Cookies and other site data", "Cached images and files", "Content settings Hosted app data Media licenses Browsing history".

6.) Click on "Clear data".



Microsoft Edge

1.) Launch your "Microsoft Edge" browser.

2.) Press "Ctrl+Shift+Del" on your keyboard.

3.) Select "All-time" as the time range.

4.) Select the following: "Browsing history", "Download history", "Cookies and other site data", "Cached images and files", "Content settings Hosted app data Media licenses Browsing history".

5.) Click on "Clear now".


Firefox

1.) Launch your "Firefox" browser.

2.) Press "Ctrl+Shift+Del" on your keyboard.

3.) Select "Everything" as the time range to clear.

4.) Check "Browsing & Download History", "Active Logins", "Forms & Search History", "Cookies", "Cache".

5.) Click on "Ok".
