How to Add an Encounter Note
The encounter note module allows a doctor to document detailed information about a patient.
To add an Encounter Note to a patient Folder, follow these steps:
1. log in to the EMR application.
2. Search the name or number of the desired patient folder and click on the patient name to open the file.
3. Click on ‘Submit New Entry’ at the top of the page.
4. Click on ‘Medical Encounter Note’.
5. Select ‘from the available 'Category’ options.
6. Select the type of encounter note.
7. Click on ‘Proceed to Note’
8. Enter applicable section(s).
9. Select any of the form component if necessary.
10. Click on ‘Submit’ when done.
